Need more energy?
Adrenal fatigue sounds like a fad condition, but trust me if you are struggling with these symptoms and looking for answers I can assure you it’s not something to be sneezed at…
The reason why it’s not so common knowledge is because the testing process as run by conventional western medicine has not been refined as yet, so it’s not readily something that your local GP will suggest. However many recent studies have shown that long term adrenal fatigue has a long list of ongoing problems to other major areas of a functioning endocrine system.
Watch one of the world’s leading experts Dr James L. Wilson PhD describe the relationship blood glucose has with your Adrenals.
Only 1:37sec explanation.
Do you relate to any of these symptoms?
- Difficulty getting up each morning, even after a long sleep
- High levels of fatigue each day
- Inability to handle stress
- Cravings for salty foods
- Higher energy levels in the evenings
- A weakened immune system
- Hormone imbalance
- Brain fog
- Belly weight that won’t budge
If you are nodding your head like crazy after reading this list of symptoms it is highly likely you are heading towards one of the stages of adrenal fatigue.
(hopefully one of the early stages so we can get you feeling better quicker).
What makes your adrenals fatigue?
Glad you asked….
Adrenals work according to how well you cope with stress and anxiety on a day to day basis. That’s the easiest way to explain. If you like the nerdy science version you can read more about it here or check out this cool graphic below. But the most important thing you need to understand is that if you are stressed out at work or life everyday and not resting your body according to that amount of stress then you are destroying your adrenal function.
Once Adrenal fatigue has been ignored for long enough you can expect some more symptoms to be produced by your body, such as:
- Asthma, allergies or respiratory complaints
- Dark circles under the eyes
- Dry skin
- Extreme tiredness an hour after exercise
- Frequent urination
- Joint pain
- Lines in your fingertips
- Loss of muscle tone
- Low blood pressure
- Low blood sugar
- Low sex drive
- Lower back pain
- Numbness in your fingers / Poor circulation
- Weight gain
Whilst not all of these symptoms are always about your adrenals they can be effected from long time stress of adrenals and prolonged fatigue or stressful situations. Whilst we tend to self medicate to reduce one or two symptoms, often this form of symptom relief can cause ore strain on the adrenal glands and continue the damage.
Adrenal fatigue is real
True healing takes time but often we don’t know where to start with so much information available we often get confused and the idea of starting something different can be overwhelming. Through my own experience of living and dealing with Adrenal Fatigue AND from working with hundreds of clients in the same situation, it has become glaringly obvious that these glands need our help.
What can you do now?
Step One: Order an Adrenal Testing Kit that you can do at home. It is mailed to you so we can measure your cortisol levels and know exactly what state your adrenals are in to begin with.
Step Two: Results come back and we consult together the best health plan for you to recover once the results have been analyzed. It will depend on how much damage has been done to your adrenals.
Step Three: Supplementation to help repair your adrenals as well as a good plan in place to help you manage your stress levels better.
Step Four: Removing inflammatory and cortisol spiking foods to rest and reset the adrenals so they can heal.
